Jon Schnepp was a distinguished filmmaker and animation director, recognized for his contributions to numerous television shows and films. He gained prominence as the director of Adult Swim’s animated series, Metalocalypse, and as the animation director for Nickelodeon’s What’s Inside Heidi’s Head? Schnepp also edited episodes of Cartoon Network’s Space Ghost Coast to Coast, co-directed the pilot for Comedy Central’s Upright Citizens Brigade, and directed segments and the title sequence for the series’ run. Tragically, on July 19, 2018, Schnepp passed away at the age of 51 due to complications from a massive stroke.
