Joey Bishop, an American comedian, actor, and television personality, rose to fame as part of the Rat Pack, which included Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., and Peter Lawford. He was a frequent guest on “The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson” and hosted his own program, “The Joey Bishop Show.” Additionally, he appeared in films such as “Onionhead” and “The Delta Force.” In 1993, he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Bishop shared a close friendship with Sinatra and served as a liaison between him and the White House during President John F. Kennedy’s tenure. He passed away in 2007 at the age of 89, leaving behind a legacy of success in nightclubs, television, and movies.
