Joe Kenda, a retired police detective lieutenant and television host, is best known for his true-crime series “Homicide Hunter: Lt. Joe Kenda.” He recently returned to television with a new show, “Homicide Hunter: American Detective,” where he reopens his “murder books” and explores the most disturbing cases from his career. Kenda has also written a book about his law enforcement experiences and is a sought-after public speaker. He played a role in investigating the 1999 Columbine High School mass shooting.
