Joseph Jackson, commonly known as Joe Jackson, was a distinguished talent manager and father of pop icons Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson. He expertly steered his children’s careers and established Joe Jackson Productions. Among his most notable accomplishments were managing the Jackson 5, producing Michael Jackson’s solo albums “Off the Wall,” “Thriller,” and “Bad,” and working with artists like Diana Ross as a record executive. Joe Jackson was inducted into the Rhythm and Blues Music Hall of Fame.
