James Warren White MBE, commonly known as Jimmy White, is an esteemed English professional snooker player. Often referred to as “The Whirlwind” due to his dynamic and offensive playing style, White has an impressive record, including four World Seniors titles and the distinction of being a four-time World Seniors Champion. Additionally, he was the 1980 World Amateur Champion and the 2009 Six-red World Champion. Although he has reached the World Championship final six times, he has never secured the title. White’s other significant accomplishments consist of winning the Masters in 1984 and the UK Championship in 1992. As one of the most beloved snooker players in history, White is particularly well-known for his six World Championship final appearances without capturing the title.
