Jimmy Hart, an American professional wrestling manager, executive, composer, and musician, is widely recognized for his work in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) and World Championship Wrestling (WCW) under the moniker “The Mouth of the South.” Currently signed to WWE in a Legends deal, Hart has managed numerous renowned wrestlers such as Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, and Jerry Lawler. Additionally, he has contributed music for wrestling events and made cameo appearances in wrestling-related TV shows and films. Inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005, Hart has also received the Pro Wrestling Illustrated Manager of the Year award five times.
Besides his wrestling career, Hart was part of the 1960s rock band The Gentrys, famous for their hit song “Keep on Dancing,” and has continued to be involved in the music industry.
