Jimmy Griffin was an American singer-songwriter and a founding member of the 1970s soft rock band Bread. He gained recognition for co-writing some of the band’s most popular songs, such as “Baby I’m-a Want You”, “Everything I Own”, and “The Guitar Man”. Griffin, who passed away in 2005 at 61, was not only a talented singer and guitarist but also a skilled painter. He designed album covers and promotional materials for Bread and other artists.
