Jill Ellen Stein, an American physician, activist, and former political candidate, rose to prominence as the Green Party’s presidential nominee in both the 2012 and 2016 US elections. A champion of progressive policies, Stein supports initiatives such as Medicare for All and a Green New Deal. She has actively participated in the Occupy Wall Street movement and consistently criticizes corporate involvement in politics. Additionally, Stein co-founded the Massachusetts Coalition for Healthy Communities and has served as an instructor at Harvard Medical School.
