Jhene Aiko, born on March 16, 1988, rose to fame as a singer, songwriter, and record producer. Starting as a backup singer for her brother and cousin, she signed with Def Jam Recordings in 2002. Her debut mixtape, “Sailing Soul(s),” was released in 2011, followed by the acclaimed EP “Sail Out” in 2013.
