Jesse Carmichael, an American musician, is best known as the keyboardist and rhythm guitarist for the pop-rock band Maroon 5. As one of the original members, he formed the group alongside lead singer Adam Levine. Besides his work with Maroon 5, Carmichael has solo music projects, including 1863 and Circuit Jerks. Before focusing on his music career, he briefly attended Five Towns College in Long Island, New York. In 2012, Carmichael took a two-year sabbatical from Maroon 5 to study music and the healing arts.
