Javier Hernández gained notoriety for joining Manchester United in 2010. As a member of the team, the agile athlete scored his first competitive goal against Chelsea FC at the 2010 FA Community Shield. This success was followed by his contribution to the winning goal against Newcastle at the 2012 Champions League. In 2015, Hernández left Manchester United and signed a three-year contract with Bayer Leverkusen until he found a home in LA Galaxy early in 2020. The Mexican fella also represented his home country Mexico in several international matches such as the 2014 and 2018 FIFA World Cups.
He was popularly known as Chicharito which means ‘little pea’ in Mexican Spanish.
