Jack Lambert, a retired American football linebacker, was renowned for his aggressive playing style and intimidating presence on the field. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers between 1974 and 1984, contributing to their four Super Bowl championships. As a key member of the formidable “Steel Curtain” defense, Lambert dominated the NFL in the 1970s. He was chosen for six Pro Bowls, named to the All-Pro team four times, inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1990, and included in the NFL 1970s All-Decade team.
Besides his football career, Lambert was known for his missing upper front teeth, which he lost during a high school game and never replaced.
