He rose to prominence during his tenure with the Boston Celtics between 2015 and 2017, earning two NBA All-Star selections and a second-team All-NBA distinction. Thomas is renowned for his scoring prowess and held the title of the league’s most-blocked player. He also made headlines by scoring 81 points in the Crawsover Pro-Am in Seattle. Before his professional career, Thomas played college basketball for the Washington Huskies, leading them to the 1981 NCAA Championship.
