Heather Mills, an English former model, businesswoman, and activist, rose to prominence in 1993 after a car accident involving a police motorcycle in London resulted in the loss of her left leg. Despite her injury, Mills continued her modeling career and authored a book called “Out on a Limb.” She is perhaps best known for her marriage to musician Sir Paul McCartney. A passionate advocate for veganism and animal rights, Mills serves on the board of PETA and has launched her own vegan food product line, VBites. She has actively participated in campaigns against animal cruelty in both the circus and food industries.
