Heather Headley, a Trinidadian-American actress, singer, and songwriter, gained prominence for her Broadway performances. She first captured attention in her debut role as Nala in “The Lion King” musical, later starring in “Aida” and “The Bodyguard.” Headley has released numerous successful albums and singles, such as the popular song “In My Mind.” Her accolades include a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical and a 2010 Grammy Award for Best Contemporary R&B Gospel Album for “Audience of One.” Additionally, she performed at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and served as a judge on “The Voice UK.” In 2020, Headley released the single “This Is My Wish (From ‘World of Color: Season of Light’).”
