Born in London in 1946, Hayley Catherine Rose Vivien Mills is a talented British actress who began her film career at just 12 years old. She made her debut in “Tiger Bay” (1959), acting alongside her father, Sir John Mills, and earning the BAFTA Award for Most Promising Newcomer. Mills gained widespread recognition for her roles in “The Parent Trap” (1961) and “Whistle Down the Wind” (1961) and continued to act in notable productions such as “Summer Magic” (1963), “The Chalk Garden” (1964), and “Wild at Heart” (2007) on television. In 1960, she won a BAFTA Award for her performance in “Tiger Bay,” and in 1998, she received a Disney Legend award.

Mills was once engaged to film director Roy Boulting, who directed her in several films, including “The Family Way” (1966) and “Endless Night” (1972). Although they did not marry, Boulting had a significant influence on Mills’ life and career.
