He gained fame through his appearances on Adult Swim’s The Eric Andre Show from 2012 to 2020 and Comedy Central’s Broad City from 2014 to 2019. Buress has also performed in stand-up specials such as “Animal Furnace” and “Hannibal Takes Edinburgh,” and acted in films like “Tag,” “Neighbors,” and “Spider-Man: Homecoming.” Nominated for a Primetime Emmy, he has won several awards for his comedic work. An interesting tidbit about Buress is that he began his comedy career in 2002 while studying at Southern Illinois University.
