Gary Lightbody, a Northern Irish singer, songwriter, and musician, is renowned as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist for the alternative rock band Snow Patrol. He is famous for hit songs such as “Chasing Cars” and “Run” and has established musical supergroups The Reindeer Section and Tired Pony. Lightbody struggled with depression and alcoholism during the creation of Snow Patrol’s seventh album, Wildness. Recently, he launched The Lightbody Foundation in collaboration with the Community Foundation for Northern Ireland.
