Paul Francis Gadd, better known as Gary Glitter, is a British rock and pop singer who gained fame during the glam rock era of the early 1970s. He is best known for his hit songs “Rock and Roll (Part Two)” and “Do You Wanna Touch Me”. However, his career took a nosedive after a 1999 child pornography conviction, followed by a 2006 arrest and conviction for child abuse. Despite these setbacks, Glitter continued to create and release music until his arrest. Among his other notable accomplishments are his participation in the James Bond film “The Spy Who Loved Me” and being the first Western musician to perform live in communist China.
