Fred Olen Ray, an American film producer, director, and screenwriter, has made a name for himself in the industry by working on over 200 low-to-medium-budget feature films across various genres. These include horror, science fiction, action/adventure, erotic thrillers, crime dramas, and holiday films. As the head of Retromedia, Ray releases DVDs of his own productions and archival films. Some of his most notable works are Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers, Cyclone, The Tomb, Alienator, and Teenage Cavegirl. In recognition of his contributions, Ray received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Shockfest Film Festival in 2017.
