Elyes Cherif Gabel is an actor and director known for his diverse roles in television and film. He gained recognition for playing Dr. Gurpreet “Guppy” Sandhu in the BBC medical drama Casualty (2004-2007), computer genius Walter O’Brien in the CBS series Scorpion (2014-2018), Dothraki Rakharo in the first two seasons of HBO’s Game of Thrones (2011-2012), and PE teacher Rob Cleaver in a BBC One school-based drama. Additionally, Gabel has appeared in movies such as World War Z and A Most Violent Year. Besides acting and directing, he is also a talented musician.
