Born on July 17, 1976, in Chicago, Illinois, Shin has built an extensive television career with appearances in shows like “ER”, where he played Stanley Mao, “Gilmore Girls” as Henry Cho, “Malcolm in the Middle”, and “Bones”. He also co-wrote and starred in the web series “Ktown Cowboys”, which was later adapted into a feature film.
