Ed Stafford, a British adventurer, explorer, and author, is renowned for being the first person to traverse the entire length of the Amazon River, a remarkable achievement that earned him a Guinness World Record. He is best known for his books “Walking the Amazon” and “Naked and Marooned” and has hosted various adventure shows, including “Marooned with Ed Stafford” and “Ed Stafford: Left for Dead.” Currently, he is working on his fourth television series for the Discovery Channel. Stafford has also been acknowledged as a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and a visiting fellow at the University of Derby.
