Ed Sanders, an American poet, musician, and activist, is best known as the co-founder of the 1960s band ‘The Fugs,’ which gained popularity for its satirical and countercultural songs. As an author, his notable works include ‘The Family,’ which delves into the Manson Family murders, ‘Tales of Beatnik Glory,’ ‘1968: A History in Verse,’ and ‘Investigative Poetry.’ Sanders continues to perform and publish his work.
