Beyond his punk rock roots, Thomsen embarked on a new musical chapter, joining the popular pop-rock band, We The Kings. Interestingly, Thomsen and his future bandmates were childhood friends, having formed the band during their high school days. Before adopting the name We The Kings, they experimented with different monikers, including Broken Image and De Soto.
