Don Mattingly, a retired American baseball first baseman, is now the manager for the Miami Marlins. He spent his entire playing career with the New York Yankees, earning six All-Star selections and nine Gold Glove awards. In 1984, he won the American League batting title, and he is often considered one of the greatest Yankees in history. Mattingly has been actively involved in charitable and community organizations throughout his career and was inducted into the New York Yankees Hall of Fame. In 2020, he received the National League Manager of the Year award.
