Diane Disney Miller, Walt Disney’s daughter and Lillian Disney’s child, was a prominent American philanthropist and a driving force behind the establishment of the Walt Disney Family Museum. She played a crucial role in the completion of the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles and was involved in the production of iconic Disney films such as The Lion King and The Little Mermaid. Diane and her husband, Ron Miller, owned the Silverado Vineyards Winery in Napa Valley. Committed to preserving her father’s legacy, Diane donated millions of dollars to various American charities. She passed away on November 19, 2013, at the age of 79. Notably, Diane co-founded the Walt Disney Family Museum with her family and served as the president of the Board of Directors for the Walt Disney Family Foundation.
