Darren Lee Sproles, a former football player and current executive, serves as a personnel consultant for the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFL. He had an illustrious college football career at Kansas State University, where he set the record for all-time leading rusher. In the 2005 NFL Draft, Sproles was selected by the San Diego Chargers in the fourth round and went on to play for the New Orleans Saints and Philadelphia Eagles during his professional career.
In 2007, Sproles made NFL history as the first player to score his initial two NFL touchdowns by returning a kickoff and a punt in the same game. He earned three Pro Bowl selections and was named to the First Team All-Pro in 2011. Among his numerous NFL records, Sproles holds the title for the most all-purpose yards in a single season. In recognition of his achievements, he was chosen for induction into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2021.
