Cody Jinks, an American outlaw country music singer and songwriter from Haltom City, Texas, initially gained popularity through his independent releases. Known for his authentic storytelling, Jinks’ breakout album, “I’m Not the Devil,” reached No. 4 on the Billboard Country Albums chart. He has also released several other successful albums, such as “Lifers,” “After the Fire,” and “The Wanting,” which climbed to No. 2 on the same chart. Interestingly, Jinks began his music career as the lead vocalist for a thrash metal band called “Unchecked Aggression” before making the switch to country music.
