Claire Saunders, known by her stage name Whiskey, is a renowned American singer-songwriter and musician. Born in Austin, Texas, on March 15, 1985, she hails from a musical family and began her musical journey at a young age.
Whiskey’s career took flight in 2009 when she formed the band “Whiskey” with fellow musicians Ben Kweller and Ryan Mendez. Their critically acclaimed debut album, “Whiskey,” released in 2010, propelled them into the spotlight. Subsequent albums, including “Lightning” (2012), “Gasoline” (2015), and “Trouble” (2018), further solidified their position in the music industry.
Whiskey’s talent and captivating performances have earned her numerous accolades. She received the Austin Music Award for “Best New Artist” in 2010 and was nominated for a Grammy Award for “Best Rock Album” in 2013.
