Bug Hall is an American actor and filmmaker best known for his role as Alfalfa in the 1994 classic, Little Rascals. Hall has appeared in several other film and television projects, including The Munsters’ Scary Little Christmas, Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves, and American Pie Presents: The Book of Love. In addition to acting, Hall has also worked behind the scenes as a director and writer on various projects, such as the films The Profane Exhibit and The Long Run.
According to sources, Bug Hall’s real name is Brandon Hall, but he was given the nickname “Bug” by his family when he was a child. Hall’s older sister began calling him that because she said he looked like a little bug. The name stuck and he has been known as Bug ever since.
One lesser known fact about Bug Hall is that he enlisted in the United States Air Force in 2017. He completed basic training and is now serving as a member of the Air Force Reserve. Hall has expressed his desire to use his military experience in future film and television projects that he writes or directs.
