Buddy Valastro, an American celebrity chef, entrepreneur, and reality TV personality, rose to fame as the star of the 2009 reality show “Cake Boss.” As the owner of the renowned New Jersey-based Carlo’s Bakery, Valastro is known for his exquisite cakes and pastries. He has authored several baking books, such as “Buddy’s Best Cookies” and “Cooking Italian with the Cake Boss,” and made appearances on other television shows like “The Rachael Ray Show” and “The Today Show.” Besides his culinary accomplishments, Valastro is a licensed pilot who flew a small plane from New Jersey to Las Vegas in 2012 for the opening of his Cake Boss cafe at The Venetian.
