Canadian actor, director, and writer Bruce Gray (1936-2017) was renowned for his role as Judge Sidney Sugarman on the TV series “Queer as Folk.” He also had notable appearances in “My Big Fat Greek Wedding,” “E.R.,” and “Starship Troopers.” Gray directed episodes of “Polka Dot Door” and contributed as a writer for “The Ed Sullivan Show.” In 2004, he was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the ACTRA Toronto Awards. Besides his work in the entertainment industry, Gray was a skilled painter and photographer, showcasing his artwork in various exhibitions.
