Bonnie Parker, a notorious American outlaw from 1910-1934, was part of the infamous duo Bonnie and Clyde, who were known for their robberies and murders during the Great Depression. As symbols of rebellion, they were later immortalized in the 1967 film “Bonnie and Clyde,” with Parker portrayed by Faye Dunaway. An aspiring poet, some of Parker’s work was published in newspapers during her lifetime. Alongside Clyde Barrow, she formed the Barrow Gang, which included members such as Clyde’s brother Buck, his wife Blanche, W.D. Jones, Henry Methvin, Raymond Hamilton, Joe Palmer, and Ralph Fults. Their 21-month crime spree spanned multiple states and resulted in the deaths of 13 innocent victims.
