Bob Pettit Jr., an American former professional basketball player, played 11 seasons in the NBA exclusively with the Milwaukee/St. Louis Hawks from 1954 to 1965. Widely regarded as the greatest forward of his era, Pettit was the inaugural recipient of the NBA’s Most Valuable Player Award in 1956 and won it again in 1959. Known for his exceptional scoring and rebounding skills, he played a crucial role in leading the Hawks to the NBA championship in 1958. Pettit was a 10-time NBA All-Star and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1970. Additionally, he was named to the NBA 25th, 35th, and 50th Anniversary Teams.
