Jackson’s athletic journey began at McAdory High School, where he excelled in both sports. Jackson’s professional baseball career took off when he was drafted by the Kansas City Royals in 1982. He made his MLB debut in 1986 and quickly established himself as a power hitter, earning the nickname “Bo Jackson, the Natural.” During his time with the Royals, he consistently hit over 20 home runs per season.
While playing baseball, Jackson also pursued a professional football career. He was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 1986 and began his NFL career in 1987.
