William Franklin Graham Jr., commonly known as Billy Graham, was a prominent American evangelist and ordained Southern Baptist minister who gained international recognition in the late 1940s. As one of the most influential Christian leaders of the 20th century, Graham preached the Gospel to nearly 215 million people in live audiences, surpassing any other individual in history. He was renowned for his crusades and public speeches promoting Christian faith and theology. Among his notable works are books such as “Peace with God” and “The Reason for My Hope: Salvation.” Graham also founded the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. Furthermore, he engaged in a conversation with former Soviet Union leader Nikita Khrushchev in 1959, during which he gifted him a Bible and debated his views on God and Christianity.
