He gained prominence as the host of the Fox News Channel program “The O’Reilly Factor” and as the co-anchor of the syndicated tabloid television show “Inside Edition.” O’Reilly has written several books, including the popular “Killing Lincoln” and “Killing Kennedy.” As the most-watched host on cable news during his 21 years at Fox News, he left the network in 2017 and has since faced defamation lawsuits and settled suits.
