Anne Jeffreys (1923-2017) was a talented American actress and singer, recognized for her performances in the 1950s sitcom “Topper,” the film “Step Lively,” and the long-running soap opera “General Hospital.” Throughout her career, she appeared in numerous TV shows, films, and stage productions, earning critical acclaim and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In addition to her acting and singing talents, Jeffreys was an accomplished horsewoman who competed in equestrian tournaments and advocated for animal rights. Some of her other notable works include “Kiss Me, Kate” and “The Delphi Bureau.” She also served on the board of the Screen Actors Guild.
