Andy Williams was a renowned American singer, songwriter, and television host known for his smooth baritone voice and popular hits such as “Moon River,” “Can’t Get Used to Losing You,” and “Love Story.” Throughout his career, he won three Grammy Awards and hosted his own television show, “The Andy Williams Show,” from 1962 to 1971. Some of his other notable works include “The Andy Williams Christmas Album,” “Days of Wine and Roses,” “Butterfly,” and the 1965 UK hit “Live This.” In 1971, he released “The Impossible Dream (The Quest).” A compilation album, ‘Andy Williams’ Greatest Hits,’ featuring some of his most significant songs since joining Columbia Records, was released in 1970. Apart from his music career, Williams was an accomplished golfer and owned the Moon River Theatre and the Andy Williams Moon River Grill in Branson, Missouri.
