Alexander “Sascha” Zverev Jr. is a German professional tennis player who was born in Hamburg, Germany. He began playing tennis at the young age of five under the guidance of his father, a former professional tennis player. Zverev Jr. quickly displayed exceptional talent and went on to achieve the No. 1 ranking in the world junior rankings.
Turning professional in 2014, Zverev Jr. swiftly ascended to prominence in the tennis world, becoming known for his aggressive baseline playing style and potent backhand. Throughout his career, he has captured 19 ATP singles titles, two ATP doubles titles, and has had significant success in Grand Slam tournaments. He reached the quarterfinals of the Australian Open in 2018 and 2020, the semifinals of the French Open in 2021, and the semifinals of the US Open in 2020.
