Adam Roberts, a renowned British science fiction author and academic, has gained acclaim for his novels such as “Jack Glass,” “By Light Alone,” and “The Thing Itself.” He has twice received the BSFA Award for Best Novel. Additionally, Roberts has authored critical works on science fiction, including “The History of Science Fiction” and “Science Fiction: The New Critical Idiom.” As a professor of English literature and creative writing, he teaches at Royal Holloway, University of London. Roberts has also been a post-graduate fellow at the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and is known for writing short parodies of popular franchises, showcasing his diverse range of achievements.
