Acacia Brinley Kersey, born on October 22, 1997, in Huntington Beach, California, is a talented singer-songwriter who has made a name for herself in the music industry. Growing up in a musical family, she began singing at a young age and attended the Orange County School of the Arts, where she studied vocal performance.
Kersey’s music career took off in 2014 with the release of her debut single, “Last Day of Summer.” She gained popularity through her covers of popular songs on YouTube, which eventually led to her signing with Warner Bros. Records in 2016. In 2017, she released her debut EP, “Acacia,” featuring the hit single “Talk Too Much.” Her second EP, “Bloom,” was released in 2018 and included the singles “Shadow” and “Good Things.” In 2019, Kersey released her debut album, “Acacia Kersey,” which featured the singles “I Don’t Need You” and “Talk to Me.” She has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe.
Throughout her career, Kersey has won several awards for her music, including the Radio Disney Music Awards’ Best New Artist in 2017, the Teen Choice Awards’ Choice Music: Breakout Artist in 2017, and the MTV Video Music Awards’ Best New Artist in 2018. She has also been nominated for several other prestigious awards, such as the Grammy Awards’ Best New Artist in 2018, the American Music Awards’ New Artist of the Year in 2018, and the Billboard Music Awards’ Top New Artist in 2018.
In addition to her singing and songwriting talents, Kersey is a skilled dancer and has performed in several music videos. She is a big fan of Harry Potter and even has a tattoo of the Deathly Hallows symbol on her wrist. Acacia Kersey is currently in a relationship with fellow musician Jake Paul.
