Aaron Boone, an American former baseball infielder, is currently the manager of the New York Yankees. He had a 13-season MLB career from 1997 to 2009, playing for teams such as the Cincinnati Reds, New York Yankees, and Cleveland Indians. Boone gained fame during his 2003 season with the Yankees, where he was an All-Star and hit a walk-off home run in Game 7 of the American League Championship Series. Additionally, he worked as an ESPN analyst. Boone hails from a baseball family, being the son of Bob Boone, brother of Bret Boone, and a distant cousin of former NFL quarterback Mark Rypien.
