Vanessa Ferrari, an Italian artistic gymnast, gained prominence after winning the gold medal in floor exercise at the 2006 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, becoming the first Italian woman to accomplish this. She has also earned numerous other awards, such as a bronze medal in floor exercise at the 2020 European Gymnastics Championships, the all-around bronze medal at the 2005 European Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Championships, the floor exercise bronze medal at the 2021 European Artistic Gymnastics Championships, and the all-around gold medal at the 2006 Mediterranean Games. Ferrari has participated in the 2008 and 2016 Summer Olympics and is currently training after Achilles surgery, with the goal of competing in the 2024 Olympics.
