Alexander Amin Casper Keynes, known as Skandar Keynes, was born on September 5, 1991, and is a British actor recognized for his portrayal of Edmund Pevensie in the Chronicles of Narnia film series. He starred in all three films: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005), Prince Caspian (2008), and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (2010). Besides his Narnia appearances, Keynes has participated in other projects such as Macbeth (2001) and Victoria Died in 1901 and Is Still Alive Today. As the great-great-great-grandson of Charles Darwin, he actively supports animal rights and environmental causes. Notably, his acting career began at just 9 years old when he took on a role in the Royal Shakespeare Company’s production of Macbeth.
