Seth Adam Meyers, a multifaceted American talent, is known for his work as a comedian, television host, actor, writer, producer, and podcaster. He gained prominence as the host of NBC’s late-night talk show, Late Night with Seth Meyers. Before this, he was a part of the popular sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live from 2001 to 2014, where he not only acted but also served as the show’s head writer and anchor for the news parody segment, Weekend Update. Additionally, Meyers has created and executive produced the series Documentary Now! and co-created and wrote the animated comedy series The Awesomes. His outstanding work in television has earned him multiple Emmy Awards.
Some of Seth Meyers’ other notable accomplishments include hosting the Golden Globe Awards in 2018 and 2021, writing and starring in the 2011 film “New Year’s Eve,” hosting the 66th Primetime Emmy Awards in 2014, and making frequent guest appearances on various talk shows such as The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
