Samantha Quek is a British field hockey player and television personality who gained fame as part of the Great Britain women’s team that secured a gold medal at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics. She has also participated in reality shows like “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!” and “Celebrity MasterChef” and authored the book “Hope and a Hockey Stick.” As an ambassador for the Women’s Sport Trust, Quek promotes women’s sports. Diagnosed with Bell’s palsy in 2008, she has become an advocate for raising awareness about the condition. Quek has represented both England and Great Britain in her field hockey career.
