In addition to her film career, Negri was a successful stage performer and published her memoir, Memoirs of a Star, in 1970. She was also a talented writer and poet, with works such as “La Chanson de l’Adieu.” Negri dedicated herself to humanitarian causes, supporting charities for orphans and war victims. After retiring from Hollywood in the 1950s, she resided in San Antonio, Texas until her passing in 1987.
