Peter Capaldi, a Scottish actor and filmmaker, is renowned for his role as the twelfth Doctor in the popular BBC TV series Doctor Who. He has also earned critical acclaim for his performances in films like In the Loop and World War Z, as well as TV shows such as The Thick of It and The Hour. In 1995, Capaldi won an Oscar for Best Live Action Short Film for his work on Franz Kafka’s It’s a Wonderful Life. His other notable projects include the TV series Prime Suspect and films like Local Hero and Dangerous Liaisons. Additionally, Capaldi made a guest appearance as Ozzie in a 1985 episode of the comedy-drama series Minder.
